Cape Coral

The young and the young-at-heart will enjoy spending time to explore and discover the beautiful sandy-white beaches such as Fort Myers beach and all the little islands like Sanibel, Captiva and Pines, located less than 30 minutes away from our villa. The region enjoys 335 sunny days. Summers are very hot and humid. Winters are dry with a moderate temperature.

There is plenty of activities to do: Fishing in the Mangroves, Deep Sea with a captain, on the dock located directly at the houses or on the boat.

There are more than 25 golf courses nearby that will suit all levels of golfers. Sunsplash aquatic park is located only 15 minutes away from our residences and will entertain and refresh the whole family during the hot summer days. You will find everything you are looking for: Shopping centers, trendy restaurants souvenir shops and gourmet stores.

The amateurs of navigation will be pleased, the city of Cape Coral contains one of the largest canal networks in the world, 640 km. Most of these canals are navigable and allow access to the golf of Mexico. You can go from beach to beach, with the company of dolphins fooling around the boat! And if you are lucky, you might also see some manatees. The region is also home to various species of birds, tortoises and various species of reptiles such as the common iguana.

Our Cape Coral residence is located about 30 minutes away from Fort Myers International Airport (RSW). If you prefer Miami, Fort Lauderdale or Tampa airports, it is a 2-hour drive, and finally Orlando airport is a 3-hour drive.

Singer Island

If you can’t decide what you like best between boating, scuba diving and basking on the beach, we’ve got good news: Riviera Beach and Singer Island have it all.

Make Riviera Beach Marina Village your first stop for a day on the water. Many fishing charters and boat rentals are available for deep sea fishing; marlin, wahoo, tuna, grouper and many other species also inhabit these legendary fishing grounds. You can also rent paddle boards, kayaks or jet skis and enjoy breweries overlooking Rafiki-Tiki. Manatee Lagoon offers families a glimpse of Florida’s marine mammal. The discovery center offers exhibits, children’s lessons and an observation platform where you can see manatees in full migration, all for free.

Divers and snorkelers from around the world flock to Phil Foster Park and its Underwater Snorkel Trail to explore thriving reefs, historic wrecks, sunken sculptures and diverse marine life. Sea turtles and tropical fish are common sights around Blue Heron Bridge, a crystal-clear section of the Intracoastal Waterway that’s been named the best dive site in the world. Board a water taxi at Riviera Beach Marina Village to Peanut Island for more fantastic snorkeling and diving.

Just across Lake Worth Lagoon, Singer Island has been perfecting the art of leisure for over a century. The island boasts seven miles of beaches, from the golden sands of Singer Island Municipal Beach to the rambling boardwalks of Ocean Reef Park.
